Irene Tello arista


Irene Tello Arista is a Ph.D. researcher at Central European University, columnist for El Universal, and co-chair of Action4Justice.

 

She holds a master's degree in International Relations from New York University and is a former Fulbright scholar. She has more than ten years of experience working on anti-corruption efforts. She was the executive director of Impunidad Cero; a research assistant at NYU’s GovLab; and a research assistant at Transparencia Mexicana (the Mexican chapter of Transparency International). As part of her work at Impunidad Cero, she coordinated more than 50 studies on impunity and corruption and the design of denuncia.org, a digital platform to fight impunity in Mexico.

 

She is currently doing a Ph.D. in Political Science at Central European University analyzing the use of beneficial ownership data for anti-corruption efforts.
